responsive sustainable energy expertise
Some of the assignments we have completed are shown below:
Utility Scale Solar Systems
A European enterprise wanted to develop a pipeline of projects in the UK to exploit the then favourable government FIT solar tariff. The challenge was to develop a 100MW pipeline (equivalent to 20 x 5MW sites) in 6 months. This was achieved through developing prospects with land owners and agents, property owners and managers and agents and developer channels. This also involved developing technical and commercial modelling techniques and contract documentation. To date, four sites have been built out and connected to the grid at a total rating of 23MW
Lithium Batteries and the Standby Power Market
An overseas manufacturer of lithium cells wished to explore the potential market for their products or developments into the current UK VRLA battery market place. The UK Valve Regulated Lead Acid business is predominantly “standby” in nature with some smaller “mobility” sectors. A newer developing market is into the Renewables/Sustainable energy market. These markets were researched and quantified both in terms of size, growth rates and by identifying potential customers and targets. Costs and benefits of Lithium versus VRLA were explored and then various competing product profiles utilising Lithium were identified and outlined.
Supply of Energy from Independent Sustainable Power Generation
An international multinational wanted to develop the possibility of selling energy from independent embedded power generation utilising gas fuels in Europe. Firstly it was necessary to understand the current energy markets and trends. Then to devise accurate technical and commercial modelling techniques and product profiles in order to determine costs and benefits and to develop a business plan for this market. In support of this a 200MW pipeline of prospects was developed with utility resellers and various sales channels.
